It’s official, the latest game by Two Point Studio under Sega Europe is Theme Hospital spiritual successor Two Point Hospital. The game asks you to tackle the management of a hospital and ensure the medical care of the patients coming in are treated.
And in true Theme Hospital fashion, things get rather silly from here. The first disease introduced in the reveal trailer is lightheadedness. Literally.
As silly as things can be, there should still be a very deep sim/management gameplay where players have to juggle the operations of a health centre. Facilities must be build, staffs must be hired and paid, enough vending machines must be placed to keep your patients happily wait for diagnosis and so on.
The silly themes do play it really close to Theme Hospital, but that’s just showing the heritage of the developers, which are made of ex-Bullfrog and Lionhead staffers. Only a release window is given, Autumn 2018 with no plans of going Early Access. It will be released on Steam when it’s all done and ready.
