Excited for the newest DLC of Civilization VI coming soon? Well, why not take a small trip down memory lane and play the third entry of the highly successful series, which is currently free on Humble Bundle for a limited time only.
This complete edition will get you the base game, it’s online expansion “Play the World” (but official online play has been stopped and only LAN still works, so probably best to use Tunngle), and more civilizations, scenarios, and features from the Conquests expansion.
Besides online not working, bear in mind that the game is the original Microsoft ME version so the game may not work as intended on modern systems. But other [...]
It’s time to race on the land, sea and air in GTA Online. All in one race. The much-teased Transform Races are new stunt races with a twist- a change in vehicle type in certain checkpoints.
Rockstar has now detailed the first 15 races included in the update which feature some crazy back-and-forth vehicle changes. Here’s some of the more interesting race descriptions:
Separation – Start off strapped into the lovechild of a supercar and a space shuttle. Throw in a tightly-wound stunt plane and a herd of pocket-sized helicopters, and your multitasking better be up to scratch. Featuring the Rocket Voltic, the Mallard, Havok and Motorcycles.
Slalom – [...]
Enjoying Gran Turismo Sport? The long-awaited racing game is finally out, but not without some quirks- the game requires an active internet connection to even do game saves.
If you have dabbled with the game’s Scapes Photo mode, you might notice that not all of the locations, like the streets in Melaka, are available. If you want access to all of the locations, it’s available as a free 9.3GB download.
All you need to do is find the Scapes Add-on on the PS Store, which is linked here.
This is an optional download, and given its size, it makes sense that is made as such.
Visceral, the studio famous for its survival horror series Dead Space, is no more. Publishers EA has announced that the team, which were working on an action adventure Star Wars game with former writer of the Uncharted series Amy Hennig, will be “ramping down and closing”.
Development of the game, yet untitled despite being mentioned in various E3 conferences, will now transfer to EA Worldwide Studios, led by EA Vancouver.
Patrick Söderlund, Executive Vice President of EA, has explained that the Star Wars project is undergoing some big changes.
“Our Visceral studio has been developing an action-adventure title set in the Star Wars universe. In [...]
Head’s up. Now that Gran Turismo Sport is out it is now confirmed that many features of the game require an internet connection, and that includes saving the game. The persistent online connection means almost all the other modes except for Arcade mode are available should you lose a connection.
Always-online connection has always been met with bad reception, especially if the game does not justify its need. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has gone on the record stating 85% of the content for Gran Turismo Sport is offline-based, likely referring to the small portion of the Sport Mode is in comparison to the other modes on offer. However, with only Arcade mode being [...]
Civilization VI continues to be supported. The popular turn-based strategy game has announced two more civilizations you can play as, both hailing from Southeast Asia and have appeared before in previous Civ games.
The first one is returning from Civ IV: the Khmer Empire. Otherwise known as the Angkor Empire, the Khmer has huge advantages in religion growth, including a “religion bomb”- an ability to grab adjacent tiles after plopping a holy site- as well as big bonuses to population growth. Led by King Jayavarman VII, the Khmer also has the Domrey, a unique unit that is an elephant carrying a giant ballista.
As for the second civ, it’s Indonesia [...]

There’s a huge mobile MOBA game out there made from Tencent’s in-house team, Timi Studios. And depending on who you ask and which media portal that covers it, it has many names. Some call it Honor Of Kings (the name we picked when we first covered it), it also has been translated as Kings Of Glory. The official name, “王者荣耀” (Wángzhě Róngyào) is huge in China, with over 200 million players.
Some might just brushed it off as another League Of Legends rip-off, understandable that China’s gaming scene has a bad rep of copying popular games for their own market- but this is Tencent we are talking about- the gaming industry giant that has a stake in [...]
Photo mode is slowly becoming a standard feature seen in big games, and that’s pretty cool to see. It allows people to take their own personalised screenshots, helps highlight the great graphics that is on offer and also helps boost the game’s visibility as these pictures get shared around in social media.
Shadow Of War also has one this time, and boy is it full of features. There’s plenty of settings to mess around with, and you have a lot of freedom when positioning your camera. But the robust photo mode has also made it easier to spot the game’s uneven graphical quality. Not saying the game looks terrible- it looks wonderful at times, but you can see [...]
Zeku, the ever-changing ninja, is the last character for Season 2 of Street Fighter V. Zeku is the teacher of Guy, first seen Street Fighter Alpha 2.
Announced at Southeast Asia Majors, part of Gamestart Asia, Zeku has the ability to switch between two forms- his default form is a slow but hard hitting character while his younger self makes him play more like Guy.
The gimmick of two forms with varying playstyle is an interesting one, giving more options for more versatile players that can control the tempo of a match.
Zeku will be playable in Street Fighter V on October 24. He will also be available, alongside all the DLC characters from Season 1 & 2 in [...]
