Mafia: Definitive Edition’s New Trailer Showcases Its Remade Cutscenes

Mafia: Definitive Edition was shown at the gamescom Opening Night Live 2020 show. After an extensive look at the gameplay last month, this new showcase is a narrative trailer.

The trailer shows how cab drive Tommy Angelo getting an important lesson when it comes to being a mafioso. It’s a good look at how the remake will be handling the cutscenes from the original 2002 game. The remake updates the script, use new dialogue and will expand some backstories not seen in the original.

For those unfamiliar with the original, Mafia: Definitive Edition looks like what you’d expect from a AAA game releasing in 2020.

Mafia: Definitive Edition releases on September 25 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and also to Stadia.
