Fall Guys Season 4 Now Live – Seven New Rounds, New Squads Mode And More Added

It’s time to fall again into Fall Guys. Season 4 is now live with its synthwave and sci-fi spectacle.

The new season brings a whopping seven new rounds into the selection pool. They are, as described in the official patch notes, the following:

  • Skyline Stumble – Our new 60-player gauntlet showcases a mega assortment of fresh futuristic obstacles, including Low Gravity Zones, Forcefields and Lasers!
  • Hoverboard Heroes – Set sail for slimy seas as players dive and stumble over perilous obstacles. Ride out the chaos on the hoverboard ‘til the finish line or face elimination!
  • Basketfall – Team up to shoot some hoops in low gravity. This is the Fall Guys future, so prepare for a very silly number of basketballs…and triple hoops!
  • Short Circuit – A new type of racing Round drops beans on the grid and propels them through lap after lap of gravity-defying, obstacle-strewn mayhem!
  • Power Trip – Stumble onto the future-funk dancefloor and light up those tiles in a battery-powered battle for disco domination!
  • Big Shots – Ever wondered what it’d be like to stand on a See Saw while inflatable stars, magnets, gamepads, and miniature Saturns were shot at you? Well, now you’ll know.
  • Roll On – It’s Roll Out…but a race!? In this classic themed Round, 60 players dash to the finish line over a series of rambunctious rotating drums. Don’t fall off!

But that’s not all. Fall Guys Season 4 adds a new mode, Squads Mode. While you can already team up as a squad of four previously, the game format still revolves around being the last guy not falling wins.

Squads Mode makes playing as a squad of 4 more important than ever: if you get eliminated but your squad is good enough to make it through the next round, you’ll still be in the game.

Some rounds have been tweaked too. Squad race is like your usual obstacle course race round, but everyone’s finishing position count to points, with the Squad with the least score getting the boot. Whilst Squad Survival works the same, but for last-person standing rounds. If you have a good Fall Guy player, they can carry you to the crown.

Speaking of which, you can now gain crown shards by completing new daily challenges. So you don’t have to actually win to get the more sought-after costume pieces. Just collect 60 shards and you’ll get a crown.

There are many other improvements being made to Fall Guys and you can find the full patch notes here.

Fall Guys is out now on PS4 and PC (Steam), and is coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch this summer (Q3).
