Forza Horizon 6 enters a new series, as the season cycles anew. Starting June 18, a new set of Festival Playlist events will be available each week with 10 new cars to earn and unlock.
Specifically, three of them are brand new to Forza. The other seven were in FH5 before but didn’t make the cut in the base car roster (of over 500 cars) at launch.
Series 2 is themed as Horizon Decades, as all the cars are a blast from the past. A new “evolving” car meet (i.e. limited-time tied to the live service nature of the Series) will be held at the Hokubu Time Circuit. So if you’re tired in pounding those laps in through the new Time Attack feature, you can kick back and relax at the new Car Meet area to check out all the other players’ rides. Maybe even get a Convoy going.
Earning the Festival Playlist-limited cars in Forza Horizon 6 will now have some challenge in them thanks to the introduction of Trials. These are 6v6 co-op races against Unbeatable AI (the highest AI difficulty). As long as everyone in the team remembers that the goal is to ram the AI team and not each other, it’ll all work out fine. Note that you need a Gold Wristband to access The Trial.
On another note, developer Playground Games are not doing any developer livestreams for Forza Horizon 6. Instead, we’re getting short-but-sweet trailers, like this one promoting Series 2. Some of the Reward Cars in the Festival Playlist also gets short trailers that has that car advertisement energy (complimentary).

Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Reward Cars
Of the ten cars, the headliner is an interesting one. It’s that super-rare Porsche 911 (964) Leichtbau, as featured in another racing game recently. That Porsche alongside the Volkswagen Rallye Golf and Dodge Ram SRT-10 are new cars that didn’t appear in Forza Horizon 5.
