Amplitude is celebrating 10 years of its Endless Universe franchise.
The developer, outside of its coming 4X game Humankind, have all been based in one universe and lore, which includes the 4X strategy games Endless Space and Endless Legend, the dungeon-crawler Dungeon Of The Endless and the upcoming rougelite Endless Dungeon.
To commemorate that, Amplitude celebrates the anniversary with a new trailer for the Endless Universe franchise and a subtle logo tweak for all Endless games: all the games now carry the stylistic “N” logo in their official logos.
But more important for new players, there’s now a Definitive Edition bundle for Endless Legend, Endless Space 2 and Dungeon Of The Endless. Amplitude have been making a lot of DLCs, some of them include gameplay-changing mechanics, so keeping up with all the DLC releases may be too much and overwhelming for a lot of players.
Now, you can pick up a Definitive Edition for the games which includes all released DLCs.
However, for fans who wanted to complete your collection with the bundle, you can’t do that for now. This Definitive Edition is only purchasable for new players apparently who don’t own the base game. Which is a shame, because the asking price for the Definitive Editions of Endless Legend and Endless Space 2 are pretty steep: RM231.30 and RM222.30 respectively.
The base games are still cheap though: RM56 and RM75 respectively.
The rougelite Dungeon Of The Endless has a more decent price for the Definitive Edition: RM33.30 with the base game at RM27.
Hopefully Amplitude can extend the bundles to existing players that want to complete their collection (with the appropriate discounts). If you love 4X games, Endless Legend and Endless Space 2 are great games you should try out.
