Destiny 2: Beyond Light Delayed To November

Destiny 2: Beyond Light, the upcoming yearly expansion for Destiny 2, has been delayed from its original September release to November.

Developers Bungie has stated that due to work-at-home conditions thanks to the pandemic we are having right now. Understandable, as various games this year had a delay for similar reasons.

“The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic,” the post on Bungie.net reads. “We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect.”

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will now launch on November 10. With that, the current season, Season Of Arrivals, have also extended to November 10. This is the last season before a bunch of past Destiny 2 content gets vaulted so for those catching up in getting all the loot, that’s good news: more time is added to the clock.
