Mafia: The Old Country Man Of Honor Expansion Out Now Alongside Mafia: The Omertà Collection

A new expansion for Mafia: The Old Country is out now, 2K and Hangar 13 announced. The Man Of Honor expansion for Mafia: The Old Country adds two new story chapters for the action game, set in 1905 Sicily following protagonist Enzo when he worked with Ennio Salieri.

The two story chapters covers an early part of Enzo’s days as a soldato, which was a time skip in the base game. The new story chapters integrate seamlessly for those who will be playing Mafia: The Old Country for the first time. For those who progressed further or played through the game already, these two chapters should be unlocked already and you can immediately jump to them.

The Man Of Honor expansion also adds new Free Ride challenges, jobs, weapons, outfits, vehicles, and horses.

Mafia: Definitive Edition Gets Free Current-Gen Version, 60 FPS Update

For those playing or have Mafia: Definitive Edition, the full remake of the first Mafia game released in 2020, on consoles, the game now has a native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version, which supports 60 FPS, faster load times, improved visuals and bug fixes. This comes at no extra cost, it’s a free current-gen upgrade for a six-year-old PS4 and Xbox One title.

A full explainer on how this works can be found here.

Better late than never, just last week we saw another last-gen game received its much due current-gen version.

Through the new DLC, the release of The Omertà Collection and the current-gen upgrade, now’s a great time to discover the Mafia franchise. What started out as a more story-focused take on open world crime games to rival Grand Theft Auto, Mafia tried to be a full-blown open world game by Mafia III, but with Mafia: The Old Country, reverted back into a more focused experience with compelling storytelling. No point competing to be the next GTA when publisher 2K and GTA’s publisher Rockstar Games share a parent company.
