The latest entry in the Assetto Corsa series from the folks at 505 Games and Kunos Simulazioni, Assetto Corsa Evo, has released on PC via Steam Early Access.
Like both of it’s previous endeavors, this early access stage only contains a few tracks and cars to mess around, but the game introduce a few new elements within it, such as the Game Economy system, where you can purchase or rent cars to try them out, and even get to try the Driving Academy to upgrade your license to get into the faster cars.
And so far after this release, the community feedback has been rather mixed due to issues with wheel support and such, but considering this is the first release, they will be adding more of those support and features as they work towards their Fall release later this year.
That 1.0 version will include 100 cars, 15 officially licensed circuits with 5 more tracks which will follow after launch as free updates. They will also be adding in the key elements such as Multiplayer mode and half of the upcoming Open World map, which faithfully recreates the iconic Eifel region in Germany that surrounds the Nürburgring, well before that Fall date as well.
Assetto Corsa Evo is now on Steam Early Access for 20% off until 31st January.
