Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon Sales Pass 3 Million Copies

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced that they have sold more than 3 million copies of Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon.

The sequel to the long-dormant franchise may not be doing Elden Ring numbers (or even Elden Ring DLC numbers), but passing over a million copies sold for a AAA game should be a sign of success, sales-wise.

Armored Core VI sees FromSoftware revisited the series it was famous for before Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls became a mainstream success. Featuring a new standalone story and setting, the mecha action game has all the essence of what made the series what it is (customisable mechas with a lot of build options set in a bleak world) as well as new elements (more extravagant bosses and overall polish).

Armored Core VI hasn’t had any new content update in a while, the last of such update was in December last year, with the latest balance patch released in February.

FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki recently said in an interview that FromSoftware “have a strong will to continue [the Armored Core] in the future.” With all of FromSoft’s known projects now released, who knows what’s coming next from them.

Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon is Gamer Matters’ Game Of 2023.

Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
