Warframe Sisters Of Parvos Update Adding New Nemesis, Magical Girl Warframe

The next update to free-to-play shooter Warframe is coming next week. The Sisters Of Parvos update will expand the nemesis system-like Kuva Liches with a new variant of a lich/nemesis, new weapons and a water-themed magical girl warframe.

The Sisters Of Parvos are the Corpus-themed new nemesis that functions similar to a Kuva Lich. Each Sister fights with a mechanised hound, and the dog-like robo is the key to getting the Requiem weaknesses to properly defeat a Sister, unique to each player.

You can convert her to your cause and have her as back-up on other missions or join as part of your Railjack crew. Or just kill her to get the new weapons.

Players need to finish The War Within, then Call Of The Tempestarii quests, as well as defeat your active Kuva Lich before you can take on a Sister Of Parvos.

Alongside that, the Sisters Of Parvos update also adds a new playable warframe. Named Yareli, she’s the second to be commanding the power of water (after Hydroid), but with her own spin.

One of her abilities is to summon a rideable creature, Merulina, which is basically a water-powered skateboard that you ride on, zooms fast and protects you from incoming damage as you pull sick flips.

She is also has a cutesy aesthetic and mannerisms, the closest you can get to a magical girl warframe, which is not just a mere coincidence. The design was done by Matias Tapia, who previously created fan arts of magical girl warframes.

To unlock Yareli, appropriately enough you’ll need to finish the new Waverider quest from Roky (which requires you to finish the Vox Solaris quest in Fortuna). These are challenges where you need to ride your K-Drive (Warframe’s jet-powered skateboards). Finishing it will net you the main blueprint, while Yareli parts can be built in the new Bash Lab Dojo room.

The Sisters Of Parvos update will launch on July 6 simultaneously on all platforms.
