As mentioned in the announcement of the Selangor Cyber Games 2017, The Legends Circuit (TLC), Malaysia’s premier circuit for League Of Legends will be part of the event. The last two teams will be competing at the grand stage, winners walking away with RM40,000 prize. Winners will also be getting the one spot to the Garena Premier League- the League Of Legends pro circuit for Southeast Asia.
The current teams in the run for the TLC Grand Finals are Orange Esports Swestic, Eternity Esports, Nirvana Gaming and reigning champions Kuala Lumpur Hunters. KL Hunters finished in the top 4 at Garena Premier League in the last spring split.
In addition, there will also be a cosplay competition with a prize pool of RM10,000 up for grabs.
The TLC has attracted major sponsors, local telco company Digi, Lenovo’s gaming brand Legion, Logitech and TIME are all pouring in money into the event.
Selangor Cyber Games, scheduled to be held from August 12-13 at Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya will also feature tournaments for Dota 2, Tekken 7 and FIFA Online 3. Registration is still open.
