Quiet on the set! Somehow, the long-dormant Stuntman series returns. Revealed at the June 2026 State Of Play showcase, Stuntman: Hollywood will have you drive and ride vehicles as a stunt driver and create movie magic through the practical work of being a crazy-good wheelman.
Originally developed by Reflections (the developers behind Driver, which still around as a Ubisoft studio these days), Stuntman: Hollywood is being developed by Saber Interactive, a studio that has recently resurrected a dormant PS2-era IP from another developer through Space Marine 2.
“The classic Stuntman game was so memorable for me, it’s always been a dream to recreate such a legend of gaming history, and evolve it into something new,” said Tim Willits, Chief Creative Officer of Saber Interactive. “At Saber, we love working with classic IPs, and we’re excited to team up again with Universal to bring back a true adrenaline rush for fans.”
Stuntman: Hollywood will feature movies and TV shows from Universal Pictures and NBCUniversal. The reveal trailer showed stunts from Fast & Furious, Miami Vice, Knight Rider and Back To The Future, to name a few.
The iconic cars, however, are not necessarily fully licensed. The orange Mk IV Supra from Fast & Furious looks chopped with not only no Toyota branding, but its livery also looking botched with missing graphics. Similarly, the white Ferrari Testarossa from Miami Vice lacks the prancing horse badge at the front end. The DeLorean from Back To The Future, however, does feature the (defunct) manufacturer badge.
Stuntman: Hollywood has no release date yet, but it’s coming to PS5, PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S.
