Skate Story Shreds On PS5 This Year

Skate Story, the surreal skateboarding game by solo dev Sam Eng and publisher Devolver Digital will be coming to PS5.

The game was previously only set to release on PC.

A new trailer shows new gameplay featuring the demon made of glass and pain where you must skate to the moon to swallow it.

Skate Story has no firm release date yet, but it should be out later this year on PC (Steam) and PS5, unless it gets featured on another Devolver Delayed Direct.

2025 is shaping up to be the year of skateboarding games. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake is coming this July, the rebooted Skate as a live service free-to-play title should launch in Early Access sometime this year (with closed playtests currently underway), on top of Skate Story, which eschews the typical depiction of skate culture to portray the sport into something more otherworldly.
