Fans of Genshin Impact and limited edition controllers are getting something nice next year with the launch of the DualSense wireless controller – Genshin Impact Limited Edition.

This is a new PS5 DualSense controller made in close collaboration between PlayStation and Genshin Impact Hoyoverse. The controller sports an “ethereal white” (off-white) base colour for the main shell and touchpad with gold accents complimented with green (the alpine, bluish variety) colouring the analog sticks, shoulder buttons and the accented plastic piece. The Traveler Twins Aether and Lumine, as well as Paimon, are also present on the controller through the glyphs and emblems adorned on this limited edition controller.

The PS5 DualSense wireless controller – Genshin Impact Limited Edition will be available on January 21, 2026 in “select markets across Asia including Japan” but most importantly, that “select market across Asia” includes Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philiipines.

The controller will retail at SGD 119 / MYR 419 / IDR 1,549,000 / PHP 4,890.

RM416 should be about the same ballpark of pricing when it comes to limited-edition Dualsense controllers, with the base version priced at RM369.

Pre-orders for the DualSense wireless controller – Genshin Impact Limited Edition begins on December 11 at select retailers (here’s a list for the ones in Malaysia).

Genshin Impact made its big impact to mainstream video game market thanks to its release on PS4 and PS5. Hoyoverse, back then trading as Mihoyo, were mobile game developers with this being their big breakthrough initially seen as a Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild clone. Today, Genshin Impact is the gold standard for free-to-play open world RPG with gacha elements, there are games derided as Genshin clones. The game has since launch on Xbox as well, not not any Nintendo platforms yet.

A PS5 controller for a game that found its success partly through PlayStation makes sense, and if the pricing makes sense to you it should be a no-nonsense move to get this special Dualsense.
