NetEase Games continues to establish new games studios, the latest one announced yesterday is GPTRACK50.
GPTRACK50, based in Osaka, Japan, is led by Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Kobayashi is a Capcom veteran, mostly known for his producer roles in the Sengoku Basara Series, the first four Devil May Cry games, Resident Evil 4 and 6, as well as Dragon’s Dogma.
A group of “experienced professionals from both the gaming and film & television industries” are part of the initial team at GPTRACK50.
“I believe that NetEase Games, a company with extensive experience in investment and co-development, is a very reliable business partner in developing high quality games and entertainment projects”, Kobayashi said, whose official title is President of GPTRACK50.
