MapleStorySEA, one of the OGs of MMORPGs in Malaysia and Singapore, has received the new Assemble v248 patch.
The new patch adds new hero class Mo Xuan, described as “a powerful pirate class that brings combo-driven Jianghu martial arts to the fore.” Mo Xuan can unleash enhanced Qi skills that powers his punches and kicks.
With Mo Xuan, MapleStorySEA now has more than 45 classes.
In addition to Mo Xuan, the Assemble v248 update also brings the limited-time progression event “Advent Of The War Deity” designed to help grow Mo Xuan through exclusive rewards earned from gameplay. A new progression feature, Secret Book Of Destiny, is also added for characters level 260 and above designed to get players new and old as well as active and returning, to get back up to speed through an alternative way of levelling up.
The update isn’t just happening in-game. MapleStorySEA will also be running community-centered events to engage with fellow Maplers. One of these is a workshop “connecting to Mo Xuan’s Jianghu heritage” where participants get to deepen their cultural ties and real-life connections with the community.
