Manor Lords Already Sold More Than 1 Million Copies

Manor Lords launched last weekend, and the most-wishlisted game on Steam right now has sold more than 1 million copies during the opening weekend.

More specifically, publisher Hooded Horse says they sold 1 million copies of Manor Lords under 30 hours.

The game, despite being available on PC Game Pass, still manages to sell this well.

Not only that, the weekend saw Manor Lords having over 170,000 concurrent users, and that’s a new peak of concurrent players for a city builder/grand strategy/ 4X game/ colony sim/ turn-based tactical game.

Manor Lords is also sold on Epic Games Store, GOG and is available on PC Game Pass, so there’s definitely more folks playing this highly-anticipated city builder than just over 170,000.

Manor Lords is currently in Early Access, and it’s the “there’s plenty of features still not implemented” kind of Early Access, which we found to be less impressed with. But looks like the appeal of the organic city building, the graphical fidelity where you can zoom really close down, the addition of Total War-esque combat and some grand strategy elements really had so many folks interested in this game made mostly by one developer.

Manor Lords is out now in Early Access on PC.
