Manor Lords, the highly anticipated city builder by Slavic Magic and publisher Hooded Horse, continues to be highly anticipated. The publisher announced the currently most wishlisted games on Steam has garnered over 3 million wishlists.
The game had over 500,000 wishlists back in 2022 when launched its limited-time playable demo, and then reached 2 million right after announcing its Early Access release date, and then reached 2.5 million during the “pre-release campaign” last week (media outlets and content creators start sharing hands-on impressions of the game).
And now, Hooded Horse says it has accumulated over 3 million wishlists, just as the game is a week away from its Early Access release. It’s now at the top of Steam’s most wishlisted game list.
“Slavic Magic has done amazing work,” says Hooded Horse CEO Tim Bender. “We’re honoured and glad to be his publisher and help him realize his dream.”
Manor Lords is a medieval city builder where you slowly build a village into a city. Featuring production chains, tools to create organic looking cities not constraint to a grid as well as a tactical combat where you raise an army and control them like a Total War game. You also get to zoom in really, really close and see your creation at a street level.
From what we’ve played the Early Access build, we find Manor Lords to have potential, though being an Early Access release it’s lacking a lot of features and polish.
Still, that hasn’t stop the hype train for Manor Lords. The game will be out on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Windows Store) on April 26 as an Early Access title. It will also be on PC Game Pass day 1 of launch.
