Hitman 2, just like Hitman 2016, will have six different locations that you will go and assassinate people in. But this time, all the six locations are available on launch.
We have seen extensive footage of the first two locations, the endurance race in the city track of Miami and the lush jungles surrounding the small village of Santa Fortuna, Colombia. The four other locations have been revealed, similar to what leaks first suggested, in this short trailer.
Mumbai, India, is a dense city made up of slums and some Bollywood set locations. It’s a nice callback to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin which features a series of levels in India. No love for Malaysia, unfortunately.
Whittleton Creek, USA is an American surburbs set in autumn and should give Hitman veterans a hint of nostalgia from one of Hitman Blood Money’s greatest levels. Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand has an interesting mood. It is midnight and there is one luxurious house set next to the sea shores. And lastly, Isle of Sgàil, North Atlantic is only described as “one of the most secretive places in the world…”
Hitman 2 also features the Silent Assassin mode which right now has one unique map. If you owned Hitman 2016, you can play the previous six maps in that game updated for Hitman 2 as well. So long-time players of the series will have plenty to do outside of the usual story missions, the new Ghost Mode multiplayer, and the limited-time Elusive Targets, the first of which is to kill Sean Bean.
Hitman 2 will be out on November 13th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
