Hitman 2 will continue the 2016 game’s live service model and that includes the Elusive Target. These are limited-time events that feature unique targets with a detailed backstory and model, just like the ones from the base game.
The catch? You can only attempt it once.
For Hitman 2, the first Elusive Target is already set to be live one week after its launch. The target is none other than English actor Sean Bean.
Sean Bean is more known for his many on-camera deaths. This even extends to video games, his role of the narrator of Civilization VI has the implication that he did died. Now he can add one more game to this ever growing list.
Here he plays Mark Faba, codenamed “The Undying”, a man who cheated death many times and now proud of it. He’s teasing both Agent 47 and the player to try and kill him.
“It’s a talent of sorts, I suppose,” he said. “I never expected to be like this. They keep trying to kill me!”

There is also a vote to determine an unlockable weapon for the game. Either a flash grenade dressed in a toy robot, earphones acting as concealable garrote strings (yikes) or a pen that doubles as a bomb.
Hitman 2016 also had a real actor becoming a target of murder, which happened to be Gary Busey.
The Elusive Target will appear in the Miami map starting November 20th, tentatively. Hitman 2 will be out on the PS4, PC and Xbox One on November 13th.
