The SEA Game Awards 2020 have announced their winners. The awards, a staple event as part of Level Up KL, highlights the best of games made in Southeast Asia. This year’s show was broadcasted both on Astro eGG Network and TikTok Live.
Cellar Vault Games, with their horror title Short Creepy Tales: 7PM, is the biggest winner of the night, taking home the Grand Jury Award as well as two other awards- Best Visual Art and Best Game Design.
Other notable winners are Streamline Games’ co-op baker game Bake ‘N Switch (Best Technology), sort-of NSFW visual novel/RPG Love Esquire (Best Audio), and the newly released DeLight (Best Innovation).
UOW Malaysia KDU’s entry, Don’t Stop The Party, also won not only the Best Student Game, but also the Audience Choice Award based on votes from the audience and attendees of the virtual Level Up KL 2020 Online.
