Love Esquire, the romantic comedy visual novel developed by Filipino developers YangYang Mobile, now has a release date. This is their second game after their hit horror visual novel The Letter and was successfully crowdfunded via Kickstarter last year.
For the uninitiated, Love Esquire has you play a lowly squire and make your way up to successfully woo five different ladies, all of them being way over his league. Expect full voice-over for the main characters, “naughty stuff” and fanservice with multiple endings.
But it’s not just a straightforward visual novel. Love Esquire lets you decide on how to spend your day- improving stats to better woo the ladies or go out serving your knight in adventures featuring turn-based combat.
The game now has a release date, and a new trailer to boot. It goes all brooding and serious for some reason, unlike the material we’ve seen of the game so far. Even the video title pokes fun of that:
Love Esquire will be out on PC via Steam and itch.io for $24.99 USD (around RM104). A mobile version is still in the works.
