Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.06 Now Live

Gran Turismo 7 got its first post-launch update last week. Update 1.06 is focused on bug fixing (though it did introduce some new bugs) and also adds a smaller dose of content.

Content-wise, the Music Replay feature is expanded, with 64 more songs available to be selected. Music Replay lets you watch replays of races where the camera cuts are in sync to the beat, providing a neat way of enjoying the racing game’s soundtrack and the on-track visuals.

There is also a new wind direction indicator. This will show where the direction the wind is blowing and its speed. You can see it displayed right under the track map on the upper right portion of the screen.

The many fixes, you can read the full list here, revolve around fixing progression blocks and many other bugs.

As of the time of writing, the patch did introduce a new bug. All dirt races in License Tests and Mission Challenges will see cars not equipping the right tyres, which results in slower time and makes it more difficult to complete.

GT7 has a dedicated thread of all known issues, which you can check here.
