Fallout 76 Is Not On Steam At Launch

Hey, did you notice there was never a Steam store page for Fallout 76 available? PC Gamer has confirmed with Bethesda that not only the B.E.T.A. (Break-It-Early Test Application) will only be available via the Bethesda launcher on PC but also the full game itself.

“The PC version of Fallout 76, for both the B.E.T.A. and the launch, will be available only via, not on Steam,” a Bethesda spokesperson said.

There have been a few games from the publisher that launched on the launcher first and then made available on Steam such Quake Champions and Fallout Shelter. So it’s not ruling out any potential release to Steam, but don’t expect to see it on launch day.

In addition, Fallout 76’s beta will give players full access to the game with progress can be carried over. You need to pre-order the game to have access to it however, so not just anyone can play the whole game in its beta form for free.

Fallout 76 will be releasing on November 14th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
