For PC gamers running AMD cards, there’s a new update to the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition. The new graphics driver update adds a few optimisations for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
In addition, Wolfenstein II also supports the Vulkan API. This is an alternative to DirectX which interfaces more directly to the GPU. We have seen support for Vulkan in Doom last year, another Bethesda game that is running on the same engine used in Wolfenstein II.
Here are the enhancements that are available through use of the Vulkan API:Asynchronous Shaders – The Asynchronous Compute Engines in AMD’s GCN and Polaris GPU architectures can submit commands without [...]
As promised, Bethesda is releasing the sequel to their horror game The Evil Within just at the right time- October 13. This is true in Asian markets particularly Malaysia as well for the PS4.
The follow-up to Shinji Mikami’s new horror series now has a bigger world to roam in, but even more sinister horrors that will be seen.
“The Evil Within 2 represents our vision for the advancement of survival horror games,” said Mikami, now taking the role of producer, in a press release. “We’ve created a frightening world with tension-filled twists and disturbing moments, and give players the choice between multiple paths and tactics as they fight for survival. You must [...]
Good news, Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) has confirmed that Bethesda’s sequel to survival horror game The Evil Within 2 will be out in Malaysia on the same date as announced back at E3– Friday, the 13th October. It’s such a good date to release a horror game.
Developed by Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within 2 takes the horror to an open world, or at least a bit more open-ended than most survival horror games. Shinji Mikami, the man behind Resident Evil 4 and director of the first The Evil Within, remains with the development team, now as producer. But don’t worry, based one of the new trailers it still has its [...]
Nintendo is DOOMED… Thanks to the latest announcement in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct as Bethesda is releasing the highly acclaimed Doom 2016 and the soon to be released Wolfenstein : The New Colossus for the Nintendo Switch.
Doom 2016 on the Switch will include the multiplayer mode of the game (which will be avaliabe via a Day One update on launch) and all of the content already released in all in the other consoles. Curiously, It will be quite interesting to see how the game will fit in the small cartridge of the Switch, ditto for Wolfenstein 2 as the cartridge is reported to hold only 32GB of memory. So extra data download on the eShop perhaps?
Brink, at its time, seemed promising. It added a lot of mobility to the standard stop and pop FPS gameplay that Call Of Duty popularised. It has parkour, an interesting setting, pretty decent reviews but unfortunately, never found a following.
And six years later, Bethesda is making it free. Yes, free.
While the base game is free, the DLCs are not. But then again the beefiest of them all- Agents Of Change- only costs RM7.20 with the others only RM5 a pop.
It’s surprising to see the almost dead multiplayer game just been made free. If you are curious about the game but never ended up buying it years ago, or just want something new to play over the weekend, [...]
The Evil Within 2 is be another solid survival horror game. This time, protagonist Sebastian Castellanos is offered a chance to save her daughter by entering the nightmare world again.
The new trailer shows a glimpse of what is in Sebastian’s mind. There’s bits of gunplay seen though Bethesda mentioned in their official post that stealth play is possible.
Take a closer look below:
The Evil Within 2 is set to release on October 13 (which lands on a Friday) for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
