To celebrate 10 years since the release of Fallout 4, Bethesda has released Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition.
This new version of Fallout 4 includes the base game, all six official expansions plus the Creations Bundle.
The Creations Bundle includes 150 pieces of Creation Club content, content created by what’s effectively sanctioned modders as part of the Creations program where creators get a royalty cut for what’s more or less paid mods presented as DLCs. The bundle includes previously released Creation Club content as well as new ones releasing alongside the Anniversary Edition.
The Creations Bundle is the only new thing here added to the Anniversary Edition.
If you already have Fallout 4 GOTY Edition you already have the base game and official DLCs. The game already has a next-gen version. If you have the Fallout 4 base game you can purchase the Creations Bundle separately without having to purchase Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition.
So this is more to get players have a look at the content being made through the Creations program. The new ones releasing with Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition sounds cool, like Tale of the Beast Hunter, which has a full questline and some gear that will remind you of Fallout: New Vegas.
Plus, anyone with a copy of Fallout 4 can now browse through the Creations Menu to get some of these creator-made content (some of which are free, these are not all paid mods), just like Skyrim and Starfield.
If you ever had the reason to check out Fallout again, or looking to wander the wasteland for the first time, there’s now a good reason to.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is out now on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
