Destiny 2 is kicking off its annual Halloween event, Festival Of The Lost, beginning today until November 16th. This event is available for everyone, including free-to-play Destiny 2 New Light players.
Visit the Tower and you’ll see it all decorated in mood with the festivities. During this period, you can grab special ornament masks to wear, collect candy in various activities and also complete the special event activity: Haunted Forest.
There are new cosmetics available- the paid ones include a new broom Sparrow and armour ornaments looking like colourful skeletons. There are other themed cosmetics purchasable via in-game currency Bright Dust as well.
There’s one new unique legendary auto rifle, Braytech Werewolf. Doing various activities including earning candy will unlock this auto rifle, which is already masterworked and at 950 power level. Excellent for newcomers needing a serious boost in gear score.
Once unlocked you can also earn the Braytech Werewolf with random rolls- possibly with a combination of stronger perks compared to the default you unlocked.
Destiny 2 New Light is worth trying out now that the base game is in a much better state.
