Death Stranding is coming to Apple devices next week. Kojima Productions’ latest epic of being a courier in a surreal, post-apocalypse landscape will be available to play on iPhone 15 and all iPads and Macs with M-series chips.
The game is available for pre-order at 50% off. In Malaysia, the game is priced at RM99.99.
You only need to purchase once to access the game on all the aforementioned Apple devices.
The Apple Store release is based on Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the latest version which includes one new location, expanded story missions, new equipment and more.
Death Stranding is among the few recent AAA games to be releasing for Apple devices to show off the Cupertino-based company’s in-house processors, in particular on the latest iPhone.
Death Stranding follows the journey of Sam “Porter” Bridges on a mission to reconnect America. The game boasts Hollywood stars including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, and Lindsay Wagner. But unlike past games helmed by game director Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding goes wilder and even more surreal than ever. All for a game where you primarily transport cargo.
While the PlayStation releases were published under Sony’s first-party banner PlayStation Studios, Death Stranding is published by 505 Games on other platforms, including this upcoming release on the App Store.
Kojima Productions is currently working on a sequel to Death Stranding as well as another project simply referred as “OD” at the moment.
