By far the most outlandish reveal for a top of the line mobile brand, Apple has announced that Resident Evil 4 Remake and RE Village, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Death Stranding Director’s Cut are coming to their flagship phone, the recently revealed iPhone 15 Pro.
Not cloud versions, but actual ports coming to the iOS platform thanks to the power of their A17 Chip.
According to Apple, their new pro-class GPU is up to 20% faster and features a new 6-core design that increases peak performance, energy efficiency and even hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which coincides with the arrival of RE Village, RE4 Remake and Death Stranding sometime this year while Ubisoft’s AC Mirage is coming next year for that platform.
How is this possible is beyond our understanding of their Chip architecture, but it seems like we are either watching the next era of Mobile Gaming about to begin or the most ambitious experiment that Apple has done for their Eco-system. All of it super fascinating to see.
All four of these games will only be playable on the iPhone 15 Pro, which launches on September 29.
