Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals What’s Being Fixed In Upcoming Patch 1.2 – Improved Police, Vehicle Handling And More

Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting its next patch, patch 1.2 soon. Delayed due to the recent cyber-attack on developers CD Projekt Red, it looks like the patch that was previously targeted for a February release will see some much-needed fixes to the rough (but ambitious) open-world game.

For one, the police won’t just magically spawn behind once a wanted level is raised. The NCPD will take time to respond to the crime, and will send a recon drone unit first to the scene instead.

There will also be improvements to the vehicle handling physics. Previously, the physics are tied to framerate making handling much worse when played on lower frame rates. Also, many cars and bikes get individual tweaks to the handling as well. And there will be an steering sensitivity slider if you want to adjust that manually.

Cars that are beached can also get themselves unstuck. A physics tweak will make it easy for you to rock the car around to get over a ledge or rock.

Lastly, there’s also more options for keybinds, including an option to disable dodging by double-tapping the WASD for PC players and move it to double tapping the crouch button.

Surely there’s more fixes will be revealed when patch 1.2 of Cyberpunk 2077 is released. For now, that’s what we know so far.
