Playground Games has been busy setting up everything for their next foray into RPG, as during the Xbox Showcase Event, they bought a new trailer featuring a new famous cast member.
The newest addition to the Fable cast is one of the game’s newest villain, Isabel, played by Marvel star Hayley Atwell, as she degrees that our player character isn’t really the hero, which considering how some of the Fable games could go, she might be right.
Also ominously returning is the main villain of the first game, Jack of Blades, who sneaks in towards the end, so it is a curious case in how these two would fit in the upcoming game. Playground Games also hinted at an expansion coming post launch, called Fable: Order of the Hero, where you would be in charge of a cult.
Fable have locked in a release date as well, with the game set to release on February 23 2027, for Xbox Series Consoles, with Day One on Xbox Game Pass, PC and PlayStation 5.
