For the folks who asked Crazy Taxi to come to Brazil, publisher and developer Sega heeded your call. We’re going to Brazil.
The next worldwide stop in the new entry to the wacky arcade driving game will see players making a stop to Latin America. Similar to Germany and Japan, the Brazil map is made with love to the country, featuring tropical beaches, colour cityscapes and beautiful scenery which includes massive rock formations and waterfalls.
No Christ The Redeemer statue though, which has been a mainstay landmark for when a video game features Brazil, specifically the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Similar to previously revealed maps, Brazil in Crazy Taxi: World Tour feature real-world stores which includes Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão, Habib’s (the Brazilian fast food chain serving Middle Eastern food), Blue Tree Hotels and Daiso.
Daiso may be a Japanese brand store, but it has chains all over the world (including in Southeast Asia). The biggest presence Daiso has in the Americas is indeed in Brazil, with over 170 stores. Plus, Brazil does have a sizable population of Japanese ancestry as well as immigrants from Japan.
The current maps revealed coming to Crazy Taxi: World Tour sits at four following West Coast (USA, the original Crazy Taxi map), Germany and Japan.

After laying dormant for more than a decade, Crazy Taxi is returning to a world where cabbies driving real mad to get paid quick isn’t too far off from reality. But these gig workers from the 2000s are now taking their business around the world, and it also involves night-time street racers, and multiplayer modes where cops are chasing them.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour releases sometime in 2027 for the PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Check out what we thought of the previous Closed Network Test here.
