Hey hey hey! You’d thought there’s only one new trailer revealed during Gamescom 2026 for Crazy Taxi: World Tour, but actually there are two.
At Opening Night Live, Sega showed off the multiplayer trailer to the tune of Bad Religion’s Ten in 2010.
Now, Sega revealed a new trailer showcasing the second map for Crazy Taxi: World Tour, and the first to justify that subtitle: Germany.
The map, simply called Germany, features historic castles and cathedrals (the one in the screenshot looks a lot like the Cologne Cathedral, or at least it has the same Gothic aesthetic of a German cathedral), quaint houses (that’ll look like normal houses to Europeans, presumably) and since this is a game where you drive cars, the Autobahn.
The Autobahn is the highway/freeway in Germany famous for its lack of speed limit for most vehicle classes, not that you’d ever be following speed limits in a Crazy Taxi game, but good to know there’s some form of wide and long highways which may be helpful in taxiing the locals here.
Sega also confirms there will be collab stores featuring real-life brands in the Germany map of Crazy Taxi: World Tour, featuring brands native to Germany including wellness brand Kneipp, kitchenware brand Zwilling and the more familiar sports attire brand Puma.
Gamescom is currently being held at in Cologne, Germany, so it’s a rather well-timed announcement to reveal the Germany map here and now. Where will Axel and the crazy taxi drivers head to next in their ride-sharing adventures remain to be seen.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is set to launch in 2027 for the PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
