Build A Rocket Boy, the new indie studio led by game director Leslie Benzies (GTA Online), has revealed a new game called MindsEye.
It is described as a “high-octane, triple-A, story-driven action-adventure game, set in a world of futuristic corporations, conspiracy theories, and sinister new technologies”.
Take a look at the teaser trailer here, which shows off realistic graphics, a car chase, the protagonist shooting out of a window of a moving car and plenty of robots and military tech. Squint and you can see it looking like a prettier Grand Theft Auto.
Now here’s the mind-bender. MindsEye will be available in Everywhere- no not everywhere in general but Everywhere the platform, previously announced as Build A Rocket Boy’s next “game”.
MindsEye and Everywhere are also considered as “two distinct AAA products from Build A Rocket Boy”.
Confused?

There is an easier explainer. Think of Everywhere like Roblox- a game onto itself but it’s also a platform that players can use to create experiences and even games on their own. And MindsEye will be the big game that the developers are making to be available within that Everywhere platform.
We better get used to this, as even Epic Games is turning Fortnite into a Roblox-esque platform with its recent announcement.
Looking back at the Everywhere reveal teaser, the odd realistic-looking footage was a teaser for MindsEye all this while.
Everywhere will be available first on PC sometime this year.
