The Epic Mega Sale on the Epic Games Store continues to be odd in the wrong ways. Following Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and Oxygen Not Included were temporarily removed from the store, now Borderlands 3 also followed suit.
Borderlands 3 is exclusive to the Epic Games Store until April 2020. And for the time being, PC players cannot pre-order the looter shooter through the Epic Game Store. At least until the Mega Sale ends on June 13th.
You can still buy the game through Humble Store, however, which will give out keys to redeem at Epic Games Store.
As a response, Epic has changed the way it displays the discount prices as seen on the store. Beforehand, the prices displayed are after discount and after the $10 USD off waived by Epic for games more than $14.99.
Browsing the store now will display the price and discount as offered by the developers and publishers only. Clicking on the game’s page will then display the price plus the $10 off by Epic, should the game qualifies for it. The discounts are sparse, with most of price cuts coming from the $10 off.
Still, if you really need to get a game on the store, better act fast. If you managed to snag the game with the discount, then lucky you, the purchase will be honoured.
