Yakuza: Like A Dragon Coming To Asia On Xbox, Windows 10 PC February 25

Yakuza: Like A Dragon first launched on PS4 in Japan and Asia in January 2020, and then an English release for the west arrived last November on PS4, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S.

Weirdly, the English release only came out in Asia for PS4 only. Those looking at the Steam page from Asia will see the page not available for the region.

Now, Sega Asia has announced the release of Yakuza 7 International coming to Asian markets on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows 10 PCs.

This will be based on the Western/English release, which differs from the original Japanese/Asian release. Contents like Super Final Millennium Tower (the post-game dungeon), Premium New Game (possibly Premium Adventure, the post-game mode) and a job level cap bump from 30 to 99 are included as part of the game, unlike the Japanese/Asian release which has them locked to paid DLC. English and Japanese audio are included in this release as well.

Pre-orders are now live on the Microsoft Store, including in Malaysia for RM219. The Xbox and Windows 10 versions support Xbox Play Anywhere and Smart Delivery- pay once, and get it across Xbox One, Series X|S and Windows 10 PCs.

Note that we still have no word when Yakuza: Like A Dragon is coming to Steam for Asian markets.

If you’ve missed out on Gamer Malaya and Gamer Matters’ 2020 Game Of The Year Winner, now there’s more option for those without a PS4. The game launches in Asia February 25 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10 PCs.
