Xbox Series X Launch Window Narrows Down To November 2020

Microsoft has narrowed down the launch window of the Xbox Series X from “holiday 2020” to November 2020.

The next-gen console will launch with 100 games optimised for it, which will take full advantage of the extra power it has.

Microsoft also reiterated that Xbox Series X will support back compatibility for four console generations. That’s the OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. All playable on Xbox Series X.

The launch window might be slim of games, the first-party exclusive Halo Infinite won’t be a launch title anymore as it’s delayed to 2021. But Microsoft insists that there’s still games to play should you pick up this monolith of a console come November 2020.

No exact date is given for the release, and of course, no price point yet. But there is more progress to the next-gen console story.
