There were rumours swirling earlier this week of an upcoming livestream from Xbox. Those turned out to be true.
Xbox (and Bethesda, which is now under Microsoft) have formally announced a Developer Direct livestream. This is set to go live on January 25, 12 PM PT (January 26, 4 AM Malaysia Time, +8 GMT).
The streams will be broadcasted on Xbox’s (Twitch, YouTube) and Bethesda’s (Twitch, YouTube) channels.
Four games will be getting a spotlight in this livestream, promising new gameplay reveals and info.
The games are:
- Forza Motorsport
- Redfall
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Minecraft Legends
Starfield is absent, with the promise that the upcoming open-world game getting its own dedicated show.
Developer Direct, or “Developer_Direct” as it is branded, is a new format of livestream from Xbox and Bethesda. As the name implies, there will be plenty of screentime from folks from the development themselves which includes Turn 10 Studios, Arkane Austin, ZeniMax Online Studios and Mojang Studios.
