Ubisoft Offers Assassin’s Creed Mirage Free 2-Hour Trial Until April 30

Alhamdulillah, Ubisoft is offering players a chance to try the first two hours of Assassin’s Creed Mirage for free.

This is part of a Free Trial, available now until April 30 on all platforms the game is available.

Progress from the Free Trial is carried over to the main game should players purchase the full game, which is also currently discounted on PC via Ubisoft Connect.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage goes back to its roots. As Basim Ibn Is’haq, you will join the Hidden Ones and partake in assassination missions set during the golden age of ninth century Baghdad, during the Abbasid Caliphate rule.

Mechanically, it still has a lot of the gameplay feel of a modern-day Assassin’s Creed, though the RPG elements have been stripped off in Mirage.

Though thematically, it is a throwback to the original 2007 game which was set in the Middle East area during the Crusades. Not exactly the same time frame and location, but same vibes. And you can make it even more similar by enabling the Desaturated Blue filter, available in Mirage as part of the Free Trial.

Curiously, if you happen to own Assassin’s Creed Mirage on another platform, you can use the Free Trial to use that save and play on another platform. Apparently there’s cross-save/cross-progression. So weirdly enough, you can play New Game+ with the Free Trial, as per the game’s FAQ page.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
