What genre can we still add a battle royale mode? Well, trivia games, that’s what. Trivia Royale pits you against 1,000 other players for the ultimate reward of winning a royale.
Players are pitted in 1v1 multiple-choice rounds, where the faster answer gets more points. From there, the pool of players will ultimately be whittled down to one- and will be crowed a Royale. And it’s not just for bragging rights, you’ll get access to the exclusive Royale Lounge, a VIP members club.
Also, players can customise an avatar that tracks your face in real-time. So you can sort of play mind games with your opponent, or rub them in one if you win.
Questions are in the “hundreds and thousands” range, with more question to be added daily covering wide categories- geography, sports, even specific things like Disney and TikTok.
Trivia Royale is developed by Iceland-based Teatime Games, a developer team from the makers of QuizUp trivia game. It’s out now on iOS (download here, it’s free), with an Android version currently in development.
