The Ascent On Xbox Game Pass PC Is Missing Features Compared To Steam, But Devs Are Working On It

The Ascent, the action RPG set in a cyberpunk world is out now on Xbox and PC. But if you’re playing it through your Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription, you might have noticed that this Microsoft Store version of the game isn’t exactly the same as its Steam counterpart.

Players have found after its release that the Game Pass version is missing Nvidia DLSS and ray-tracing options.

Developer Neon Giant Games are answering the many responses from the players that spotted this disparity. They are also assuring fans that they are working on ensuring the two different builds are in parity soon.

Neon Giant hasn’t disclosed a date for when this will be resolved, it’s good to know it’s in the works at least.

The Ascent is out now on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass.
