Expect to see Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at The Game Awards 2022.
The EA Star Wars Twitter has teased the reveal will be during the annual awards show, streaming on the night of December 8 (or for folks in Southeast Asia, the morning of December 9).
However, Wario64 spotted a Steam listing of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that includes a release date of March 15, 2023 with the game’s overview and pre-purchase bonuses revealed. The Steam page has reverted back to remove all this information, likely a mistake on publisher EA’s end to push the update page ahead of the reveal.
Assuming the release date is true, EA will be on a relentless schedule of game releases to wrap up its financial year. This month saw the release of Need For Speed Unbound, the Dead Space remake is scheduled for January, then Wild Hearts will arrive in February with Jedi: Survivor to follow in March.
In any case, expect to see the sequel of the one good Star Wars game EA made in recent years coming very soon.
