Shin Megami Tensei V Has A Release Year, More Content For Cadence of Hyrule: All The Announcements From Today’s Nintendo Direct Mini

Today’s Nintendo Direct Mini was focused on third party developers working with Nintendo, and brought plenty of interesting titles for the Nintendo Switch.

Shin Megami Tensei V and Shin Megami III Nocturne HD

Arguably the most anticipated news story to come out of the direct, Shin Megami Tensei V has a release date, at least partially. The game will release in 2021, with no specific date given.

That’s not the only SMT news, either, as Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is getting a HD Remaster for the Nintendo Switch.

This version will not feature Dante from the Devil May Cry Series, however, as it is based on the Chronicle Edition of the game, where his role is replaced with Raidou.

Cadence of Hyrule Gets New DLC

Cadence of Hyrule, the Zelda-flavored take on Crypt of the Necrodancer, is getting new content in the form of 3 DLC packs: a character pack with new playable characters, a melody pack featuring remixes of the game’s music, as well as a new story DLC featuring Skull Kid from Majora’s Mask.

While the character pack is available today, the rest of the DLC will be available soon.

Rogue Company Brings More Cross Platform Shooters To Switch

Third-person shooter Rogue Company is coming to Switch, and will feature cross-play from day one. The game looks great and and more information will also be released “later today”

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

2K Battlegrounds is a 4-player party fighter with with WWE characters coming to the Switch. It has a slightly more cartoony look and will be out September 18th.
