Samurai Shodown Is Getting A Second Season Pass, Adding Four More Characters

The new Samurai Shodown is getting a second season pass for 2020, adding another 4 characters.

The first to drop is fan-favourite Mina Majikina. She was voted the most popular character to return as DLC in a poll by Dengeki Online, so she’s the most obvious of the picks. Unlike most characters in Samsho,  she’s an archer and fights with a bow and arrow, favouring a zoning playstyle. Mina will be available in February.

The second is Sogetsu Kazama. First appeared in Samurai Shodown IV, he has water-based powers, in contrast to his brother Kazuki that has fire, which was added in Samsho as DLC last year.

The third is Iroha, the second-most-popular character in the same Dengeki Online poll, for very apparent reason. She’s literally a maid.

One more character will also join the list, though SNK is holding their cards on who is it for now.

Samurai Shodown is out now on PS4, Xbox One and Stadia, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch in February 25th.
