Republic Of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has announced the availability of the ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet. It’s available starting today.
The Z13 is billed as a tablet, the keyboard is detachable, and is inspired by the ludicrous ROG Mothership tablet from years back. It is running Windows 11, powered by a 12th-gen Intel Core CPU, and an Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU- with a MUX Switch at that for full power gaming using that discrete graphics chip it has.
All that power is packed under a 12mm thick chassis and only weighs 1.1kg. It uses a vapour chamber for cooling- a bigger than usual one thanks to the lack of a hinge mechanism as seen in laptops. ROG claims the acoustics won’t go over 40dB. Lighter loads will see the fans not even turning on at all.
And the Flow Z13 is a proper tablet. It has a touch screen, and includes a stylus. And if you want to use this as a productivity suite, you’d be glad to know that it also includes a 720p webcam. The chiclet keyboard has RGB lighting, like any gaming device has these days.
Starting at RM7,999, this puts the price around the same range as the Surface Laptop Studio if you’re looking for a small Windows device that can be used for work and play.
Just like the ROG Flow X13, you can connect an external GPU (eGPU), in the form of the ROG XG Mobile, to the Flow Z13 via a propriety port. This is useful should you want to use the tablet as a desktop, the eGPU housing can act as an I/O hub to plug external monitors and other accessories.
In Malaysia, there will three variants of the ROG Flow Z13. The highest-spec variant also includes the XG Mobile eGPU, which is why the price jump is very noticeable.

Purchase of the first two ROG Flow Z13 (GZ301Z-ELD236W, GZ301Z-ELD236W) will include an ROG Impact Gaming Mouse as a bundled bonus. These two variants are available in Malaysia beginning today.
The higher-end Flow Z13 (GZ301Z-ELC214W) will include the ROG Chakram Core Mouse P511 and the ROG Delta headset. This variant will be on sale next month in April.
Any purchase of the Flow Z13 will include the ROG Sleeve bag and the ASUS Pen (SA201H).
