Okay, imagine the Microsoft Surface form factor- just one slab with a kickstand and detachable keyboards. Now imagine if that form factor is used as the ultimate gaming machine, price be damned. The ROG Mothership is essentially that.
First revealed at CES 2019, the ROG Mothership ditches the traditional clamshell design so that it can provide better cooling. As it has to stand, with a built-in kickstand propping it up, the whole back of the Mothership is dedicated to cool this powerful slab. Its cooling solution is also ridiculous: it uses liquid metal.
Just like a Surface tablet, there is also a keyboard that can attach and detach from the slab.

And yes, that’s a crazy amount of money to buy one. You’ll also get an ROG-branded bagpack, headset, and their Gladius gaming mouse included in the bundle.
The ROG Mothership will land in Malaysia sometime next month in July. So if you somehow really wanted to get this, there’s still time for you to prepare the moolah for it.
