Project Motor Racing Showcases Their Multiplayer And Adds GT300 Champion As A Driver Advisor

The folks at Straight4 Studios have showcase the Multiplayer component of their upcoming simracing title, Project Motor Racing, and what players could expect when they get their hands on it later in November.

The trailer itself is part informative and part playful jabs at their competitors, as the more serious aspect of the game, where you compete with everyone, will start you out in a beginner licensee test (ala GT and iRacing) with low power cars and work your way up, with each class having their own Driver Rating so that the battles will be balanced. And those drivers who excel in the racing, will be given access to more classes and even Endurance mode

The best part is that this ranked mode, unlike a certain FIA approved game, does not need a subscription model to access them or even a fee to create a custom lobby, all with Crossplay enabled.

And during this Tokyo Game Show week via Sega, they also have announced that Super GT300 Champion Tetsuya Yamano, who drove the iconic RE Amemiya Mazda RX-7 to its 2006 title, is joining as part of their Factory Driver Program, a sort of professional driver advisor for the game. Quite a mark that this game is making so far.

Project Motor Racing goes racing on November 25 for the PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
