PlayStation announced a new gaming monitor at the November 2025 State Of Play Japan. Of their own making.
This PlayStation monitor (“PlayStation 27” Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook” as it’s referred on PlayStation Blog) isn’t Sony-branded, it’s created by Sony Interactive Entertainment (in other words, PlayStation).
The PlayStation monitor has a 27-inch display size, the standard size for large monitors for desktop setups (32-inch monitors exists, but less common), 1440p resolution and HDR.
This includes Auto HDR Tone Mapping that “automatically adjusts HDR settings during setup on PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles, ensuring rich and vivid picture quality.”
It also offers Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), up to 240Hz on PC/Mac and 120Hz refresh rate on PS5 and PS5 Pro.

Plus, it even has this Charging Hook where you can rest and plug in a DualSense or DualSense controller to charge its batteries. Neat.
The PlayStation monitor includes 2 HDMI 2.1 in ports and one Display Port 1.4 in port, so these are designed for those who would use a console (preferably a PS5) and PC plugged to the same monitor. There’s also two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C ports. Also, like any good monitor in the market, the monitor is compatible with select VESA mounting systems should you wish to ditch the included stand and hang the monitor via other methods.
This is another move by PlayStation to venture more into the PC space through physical products.
The PlayStation 27” Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook will be available in 2026 in the US and Japan, with local availability to be confirmed.
Still a lot of time to find a catchier name. It’s not sold as a Sony product, which famously known to have what appears to be serial numbers for product names, so that’s half the battle won in that regard.
