Red Dead Online is still in beta and is still being worked on. The last update added a battle royale mode, Gun Rush, where 32 players fight in an ever-shrinking battle zone.
However, they are matchmaking issues that are causing it hard to get a full lobby of players. Rockstar are aware of this and have addressed this with a short-term fix, with a long-term fix already in the works.
Alongside that, Rockstar shared some changes that are already in the works. Proximity-Based Player Blips, Parley Changes, changes to the Law And Bounty system and Daily Challenges that reward you gold nuggets are some of the things that will see in the months to come.
Rockstar is also offering five gold nuggets for logging in to Red Dead Online this weekend, from January 25th to 27th. The free munneh will be deposited to your account by January 29th.
Red Dead Online Beta is still in a rough patch the last time we played it, but considering the long tail of GTA Online, it will get better eventually.
